Samiha Fariha is an account executive at Torchia Communications, a PR agency with offices in Toronto and Montreal. Before pursuing a career in PR, she worked in marketing in real estate and in consulting roles in digital marketing in healthcare, and jewellery and luxury goods. With experiences in media relations, social media and influencer marketing, at Torchia Communications, Samiha has been part of some successful communication campaigns for clients in non-profit, retail, automotive, food, sports, healthcare and forestry, which resulted in tier one media coverages in CBC, National Post, Toronto Star, CTV, Global News and macro and mega influencer collaborations.
Samiha holds a Bachelors of Arts in political science from the University of Toronto, a post-graduate certificate in public relations from Humber College and a certificate in digital marketing management from the University of Toronto’s School of Continuing Studies. Some of her insights on trends in communication, influencer marketing and social media has been published by leading trade publications such as PR NEWS, Ragan Communications, Agility PR’s Bulldog Reporter and Daily Dog’, Talking Influence and Marketing Magazine Australia.
